Participation Rules

Review the core rules, scoring mechanics, and conduct guidelines necessary to compete and thrive in our ecosystem.

Last Updated: November 10, 2024

1. Eligibility & Entry

To maintain a fair and competitive environment, all participants must meet specific eligibility criteria before entering any official Pushpa Contests event.

  • Account Verification: Participants must have a fully verified account. Duplicate or "burner" accounts are strictly prohibited.
  • Single Entry Policy: Unless otherwise stated in specific event rules, a user may only submit one entry per active contest.
  • Age Restrictions: Users must meet the minimum age requirement (typically 13+) as outlined in their local jurisdiction to participate in ranked events.

2. Fair Play & Conduct

The spirit of competition relies on integrity. We employ strict monitoring to ensure all activities on the platform remain fair and unmanipulated.

  • No Automation: The use of bots, macros, scripts, or any automated tools to gain an unfair advantage is a zero-tolerance offense.
  • Respectful Competition: Toxicity, harassment, and unsportsmanlike conduct toward other participants or staff will result in point deductions or bans.
  • Collusion: Conspiring with other participants to manipulate match outcomes, leaderboards, or voting systems is strictly forbidden.

3. Submission Guidelines

When participating in creative or skill-based challenges, your submissions must adhere to our strict content and formatting guidelines.

  • Originality: All submitted work must be entirely your own. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of third-party assets will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Appropriate Content: Submissions must not contain NSFW, offensive, discriminatory, or politically extremist material.
  • Deadlines: Late submissions are automatically rejected by the system. Server time (IST) is the official timekeeper for all deadlines.

4. Scoring & Leaderboards

Leaderboards are the heart of Pushpa Contests. We ensure absolute transparency in how ranks are calculated and maintained.

  • Audit Periods: Leaderboards may enter an "Audit Phase" after a major event concludes. During this time, scores are reviewed for anomalies before finalization.
  • Tie-Breakers: In the event of a tie, the participant who achieved the score first (timestamp logic) will be awarded the higher rank.
  • Score Adjustments: The administration reserves the right to retroactively adjust scores if a bug or exploit is discovered post-match.

5. Prizes & Rewards

Winning participants are eligible to claim digital badges, platform perks, and occasionally physical or monetary rewards depending on the campaign tier.

  • Claim Window: Winners must claim their rewards within 30 days of the official announcement. Unclaimed rewards will be forfeited.
  • Non-Transferable: Prizes, achievements, and badges cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged between accounts.
  • Tax Liability: For high-value physical or monetary prizes, the winner is solely responsible for any applicable local taxes.

6. Enforcement & Appeals

We take rule enforcement seriously to protect the integrity of the community. Violations follow a strict escalation matrix.

  • Penalties: Depending on severity, penalties range from warning strikes and temporary leaderboard suspensions, to permanent hardware-ID bans.
  • Appeals Process: If you believe your account was penalized in error, you may submit one (1) formal appeal ticket within 7 days of the infraction.
  • Final Say: The decision of the Pushpa Contests administration following an appeal is absolute and final.
